Job Title:

Account Executive – Western Division


Profitably grow sales and account penetration throughout assigned territory. Build relationships with existing clients, and actively prospect new business.

Key Functions:

Sell/Promote/Secure orders from existing and prospective clients through a relationship-based approach
Grow and defend market share in highly competitive industry by gaining expert-level knowledge of our clients and competitors, and delivering world-class customer service with every interaction


  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in assigned territory
  • Research and build prospect list of key industry accounts and contacts within assigned territory
  • Handle routine contact with clients via phone, video conference, and in-person visits
  • Establish and maintain existing corporate sales relationships, and grow business by deploying sales initiatives at the branch level within those organizations
  • Develop strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines and company policies as it relates to individual clients and the industry as a whole
  • Prepare and deliver clear and effective written proposals and presentations
  • Present key performance statistics to demonstrate NAN performance excellence
  • Assist with customer on-boarding and various administrative functions as needed
  • Implement “white glove” hand off of new clients to customer care team, maintaining ongoing role as point of contact for escalated client concerns
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals
  • Maintain all customer contacts, pipelines, and details on CRM system
  • Prepare plans, reports, and progress updates for internal management review
  • Represent NAN at trade shows and conventions


  • Reports to Vice President of Sales

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and comfortable as a presenter/public speaker
  • Ambitious, goal-oriented individual, driven by results
  • Ability to be assertive, persuasive, and service oriented, while acting with integrity and credibility
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and effectively prioritize workflow
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve results


  • 3+ years of direct business to business sales experience
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in mortgage industry required
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge, a plus
